HONOR 20 PRO Arrives In Malaysia on 15 August; Took Them Long Enough

The HONOR 20 PRO will officially go on sale on 15 August at RM 2,299, together with free gifts worth up to RM 500. The smartphone will also be a part of HONOR’s Rileks, Beli Je campaign, giving consumers an extended 1 year warranty.

Available in two colour variants – Phantom Black and Phantom Blue – HONOR’s latest flagship comes equipped with Sony IMX586 48 MP AI Quad Camera featuring industry-largest f/1.4 wide aperture – earning the smartphone a DxOMark score of 111 – and Dual OIS.

Something that HONOR doesn’t fail to remind us time and time again. But we recently wrote about why the DxO Mark score doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. So, keep that in mind.

It will be available at all HONOR Experience Stores (HES) and partner stores, and customers will receive a premium luggage, HONOR mini Bluetooth speaker and an HONOR tripod selfie stick with every purchase of the HONOR 20 PRO.

It can also be purchased online exclusively via hihonor.com/my and HONOR’s official store on Shopee as part of the Shopee Brands Festival, which is taking place from now until 18 August. Each purchase of the HONOR 20 PRO made on these platforms will receive the HONOR Band 3 and HONOR FlyPods Lite as free gifts. While stocks last of course.

But am I the only one kinda surprised at the price point? I thought HONOR was a budget friendly brand? Seems they’re going to a higher price point, considering it is their ‘flagship’ device, we can’t blame them. But there are other cheaper, equally, or even more powerful devices out there. Just saying.
