Holy Sh*t, Disney Is Working On Putting A Life Size Animatronic Spider-Man To Swing Over Disneyland

Disney is taking things to the next level with plans to introduce a life size animatronic Spider-Man to Disneyland’s Avengers Campus theme park in the summer of 2020. The thing will literally be swinging from building to building over what I can only imagine will be awe struck crowds just like how Peter Parker does in the comics.

That’s right, Disneyland is leveling up and a video released by the park gives us a glimpse of how it’ll be and it looks sick! In the video, Spidey can be seen swinging high into the air over attractions, complete with cool flips and other signature Spidey moves. As if it couldn’t get any cooler, it looks like he’s got himself a brand new suit as well.

Disney also gave us a closer look on how the animatronic version of Spidey will work via what looks like a behind the scenes video of test footage from the Disney+ series The Imagineering Story and its even more amazing to see how it executes picturesque Spider-Man poses mid air perfectly.

I don’t know about you guys but i’m a grown ass adult and I would pay good money just to see this. The Avengers Campus is set to be completed in June and is already looking like a money maker for the theme park with attractions such as an Ant-Man themed eatery where visitors can create super-sized and super small foods, a Spider-Man Slingshot, and a Doctor Strange themed theatre show.

Guests can also “witness Earth’s mightiest heroes springing into action at a moment’s notice all over the building,” according to Disney, which sounds pretty freaking awesome so it looks like 2020 is going to be a lit year to go to Disneyland.
