Google just announced a feature similar to Waze’s incident reporting. The feature which is integrated in Maps allow users to report crashes and speed traps to other users. Recently the options “slowdown” or “congestion” was added for those who set their app to UK English. Although Maps has the ability to report jams it wasn’t based on user data. The new feature can increase both the speed at which a problem is reported and its accuracy. Google did not announce whether it’s available for iOS users yet.
