Google’s ‘mid-range’ devices hasn’t been teased as much as previous Pixels. But Google are now finding it hard to patch leaks on their devices. According to 9to5Google, the Pixel 3a, 3a XL, and it’s cases appeared on the Google store, before abruptly disappearing. The Pixel lineup of phones are good phones, with exceptional cameras, and to many, the best cameras on a smartphone. There are others who will dispute this fact, such as *ahem* Huawei’s P30.

This portal mishap confirmed a 5.6-inch OLED screen at 1080 x 2220. Other specs include Android 9 Pie, Snapdragon 670, 4GB of RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera, and 3,000 mAh battery. The mid-range price point aspect of this Pixel lineup is what’s most attractive. The stock Android experience, plus the fastest updates, camera, and features that the Pixel has, makes it an easy sale. But the price, which is roughly RM 2850 ($799), can turn people off to the phone. The phone isn’t the most expensive device out there, but it’s getting there.

The thing that’s exciting about the mid-ranger Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL is that it’s reminiscent of the Nexus series. The Nexus 5 was one of the most highly adored and loved phones in the market in 2013. I even know a guy who still uses his Nexus 5. The phone stood the test of time, and the Pixel 3a’s lineup will probably want to work on something along those lines.
