G.Skill officially announces the new Trident Z RGB and Sniper X series specifications. They are launching them in conjunction with the release of the new AMD second-generation Ryzen processors and the X470 platform. The Trident Z RGB should now reach speeds up to 3600MHz, and the Sniper X up to 3466MHz.

These new memory kits take advantage of the new AMD systems that have the latest IMCs. This means they are able to increase overall system performance on the new X470 systems.

The Trident Z RGB – with model numbers ending with TZRX – and Sniper X memory series now have several new AMD X470-specific memory specifications. You can look at the table below for full specifications for both the Trident Z RGB as well as Sniper X series.

G.Skill didn’t provide any prices for the memory kits, although they did say they will be available by April 2018.
