Fnatic Onic Philippines Clinches M6 World Championship, Extends M Series Title Streak

Fnatic Onic Philippines (FNOP) triumphed in the M6 World Championship Grand Finals on Dec 14, defeating Team Liquid Indonesia (TLID) 4-1 in a best-of-seven series. This victory marks the Philippines’ fifth consecutive M Series title since the M2 World Championship in 2021. FNOP also completed an unbeaten M6 run, securing the lion’s share of the USD 1 million prize pool.

The Grand Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP) was FNOP’s Gold Laner, Duane “Kelra” Pillas. The team, led by Head Coach Anthony Dennis “Ynot” Senedrin, also includes Jann Kirk “Kirk” Solcruz Gutierrez, King Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez, Frince Miguel “Super Frince” Ramirez, Borris James “Brusko” Parro, and Brian Milez “SpiderMilez” Santos.

Selangor Red Giants placed third after losing to TLID in the Lower Bracket Finals, ending their hopes of a Golden Road victory.

M6 saw over 7,000 spectators in the Axiata Arena, and the event achieved a peak concurrent viewership of 4.129 million, making it the third most-popular M Series edition. Esports Charts noted a 66% increase in average viewership.

Looking ahead, the M7 World Championship will return to Jakarta, Indonesia, in January 2026. MOONTON Games also unveiled a new logo for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), symbolising a new chapter for the game. The game will be officially launched in China in January 2025.

Additionally, MLBB will return to the Esports World Cup in 2025, with the MLBB Mid Season Cup and MLBB Women’s Invitational joining the event’s calendar.
