When it seems like Android users sometimes have all the fun apps, iPhone users don’t need to get left out. There’s a new premium camera app for the iPhone with tactile controls, focus peaking, instant review, and more.
It was created by Benjamin Sandofsky, former tech lead on Twitter’s iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps and Sebastiaan de With, an ex-Apple designer.
Users can use gestures in Halide’s to change exposure and manual focus. Customise controls to adapt the app to your needs. Halide’s professional tools include focus peaking, a detailed histogram, adaptive level grid, and RAW support.
Halide gives you full manual controls including exposure, ISO and white balance. Like many DSLR and mirrorless cameras, it shows a live histogram for perfect exposure; it also comes with grid overlay with built-in level.
