Epson has unveiled two new signage printers, the SureColor S9130 and SureColor S8130, aimed at boosting productivity, print quality, and operational efficiency for professional signage and graphics production.

The SC-S9130 targets premium applications such as high-end banners, vehicle wraps, fine art and luxury brand displays, offering an 11-colour ink set including the newly introduced Green ink. The SC-S8130 is designed for high-volume, consistent solid-colour output, using a 6-colour ink set with Light Cyan and Light Magenta. Both models support dual-size ink packs and feature the Hot Swap function to minimise downtime.

Equipped with Epson’s upgraded MicroTFP printheads, the SC-S9130 achieves a 5% increase in print speed, while the SC-S8130 delivers a 28% boost. Nozzle Verification Technology ensures consistent print quality by detecting and compensating for clogged nozzles, while Epson Edge Print PRO software enhances fine-text printing and clarity for white text.

The printers feature a 4.3-inch tiltable, glove-friendly touchscreen and an ergonomic media lifter for easier operation. Both models are 64 inches wide, suitable for height-restricted spaces, with a flat top doubling as a workspace. Integration with Epson’s Cloud Solution PORT allows cloud-based fleet monitoring, workflow optimisation, and real-time production insights.

The SureColor S9130 and SC-S8130 will be available for purchase in Malaysia starting September 2025.
