According to a Reddit thread known as r/raidsecrets, it looks like we will be getting Expansion II: Gods of Mars sooner than we expected. Through the thread, a user by the name of “GodsofMarsLeak” spoke about the latest Destiny 2 DLC leak when it appeared on both the US and Japan PlayStation Store.
According to GodsofMarsLeak, we can expect the latest DLC to appear as early as March 2018. Both the US and Japan PlayStation Store uploaded full descriptions of the latest expansion, which includes the latest storyline description along with a new missions, new themed weapons and armour as well as new villains to battle (it’s basically shooting more aliens in the face.)
Sadly after some research through the US PlayStation Store, it seems that it has since been retracted and erased entirely off the page. Luckily, GodsofMarsLeak did manage to take a few screenshots of what fans and gamers alike can expect from the upcoming DLC.
According to the description, your Guardian will be travelling to the Frigid Vale of Mars to defeat Charlemagne, who has imprisoned Rasputin in an ancient vault. Your job will be to rescue Rasputin, defeating Charlemagne’s Remnants and uncovering the secrets of Clovis Bray while working Ana Bray.

Destiny 2 Expansion II: Gods of Mars sends your Guardian on a long journey to a brand new destination – the Frigid Vale of Mars, with an array of new missions, adventures, and enemies to fight. Charlemagne has reawoken on Mars and has imprisoned Rasputin within an ancient vault. Work with the elusive Ana Bray – long thought to be dead, in order to combat Charlemagne’s Remnants, free Rasputin, and uncover the secrets of Clovis Bray.
Of course, all this should be taken with a pinch of salt as the source is from Reddit, after all. It looks like we’ll have to wait for Bungie’s official announcement but from the looks of things, this latest expansion seems to be the real deal.
