Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 972 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 41, 181 cases, with 11,308 active cases as of November 9. The 972 new cases are broken down as 5 imported and 1,752 domestic.

1,345 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 29, 579. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 71.8 percent.

There are currently 86 cases being treated in the ICU, with 31 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 8 to a total of 294.
