Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 801 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 29, 441 cases, with 10,123 active cases as of October 28. The 801 new cases are broken down as 2 imported and 799 domestic.

573 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 19, 072. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 64.78 percent.

There are currently 94 cases being treated in the ICU, with 25 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 8 to a total of 246.
