Covid-19: MoH Reports Over 600 Cases Today

Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 629 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 18, 758 cases, with 6,323 active cases as of October 16. The 629 new cases are broken down as 2 imported and 627 domestic.

245 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 12, 259. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 65.35 percent.

There are currently 99 cases being treated in the ICU, with 31 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 6 to a total of 176.
