Sky: Children of the Light was a game that released exclusively on iOS, back in 2019 but now, Android users can join in on the fun. The game is now available on the Google Play Store, and it’s already boasting a 4.6 star rating with over 30,000 reviews in just a day’s release. Here’s a short summary about the game:
“In Sky, we arrive as the Children of the Light, spreading hope through the kingdom to return the fallen Stars to their constellations. Only by sharing light to awaken and redeem the perished ancestors and civilizations can the mysteries be uncovered, and the Stars be restored again.”
Best part is, it’s a free-to-play game, with some in-app purchases for customisation features. So far, it doesn’t look to be a soul sucking wallet emptying kind of game, so that’s nice. There’s seven various realms to explore, which you can do with other players and friends. There’s also cross-play support with iOS, just in case you wanted to play with your friends with iPhones. You will need to have Android 8.0 or higher, to play the game, so keep that in mind.
I’ve played a bit of the game, and so far, it’s looking to be the perfect pocket companion. It’s serene, calm, and it’s environments and level designs are just breathtaking. Seriously, check out the game, it’s a different experience to the rest of the free-to-play games out there right now.
