Casio is taking the selfie craze to a whole new level specifically for the female audience with the TR-11 compact make up…yes a compact used for face foundation as a camera. Absurd or brilliant, depending in which side you view this from,  the multicolour clam shell compact houses nine LED with eight around the lens itself and is said to make your selfie shots a work of beauty.

Casio says this is to make the image brighter and clearer just like a beauty mode application it also comes in a distinctive round shape outlined around a ring light that procides uniform light to the subject’s face from any angle. The camera is set to take square portraits and includes a self-timer which can can work from long distance, is it also designed with a new user interface allowing users to swipe to access the main features and choose settings for Make-Up Mode from a menu list that rotates like a dial.

For instant update to social media, users will have to download an app on their smartphone to pair the camera. Models retail for RM2,199 inlcuding GST.
