Shutterbugs go snappy snappy for the 8th year running

This year’s 8th edition of the Canon PhotoMarathon held at Berjaya Times Square brings together 1,000 shutterbugs for a shot at winning exciting Canon Prize worth more than RM200,000.

The competition sees talents from the Professional and Junior category race against time to capture and upload the images that best reflect the three different themes (‘Forms in Nature’, ‘Independent’ and ‘The Green Life’) given out at the set interval throughout the day.

The Grand Prize winner for the Professional Open category goes to Donnie Sinongco, with his creative interpretations of the themes.

Professional Open category  

  • First Prize Mustaffakamal Sellehuddin
  • Second Prize Lem Wai Keong
  • Third Prize Chong Zen Teoh

Junior Open category:

  • First prize Kelvin Chiar
  • Second Prize Choong Wai Er
  • Third Zhang Yi Cheng

As winner of the Grand Prize in the Professional Open category, Sinongco walks away with a once-in-a-lifetime, all-expense paid PhotoClinic Trip to Japan as well as a Canon EOS 6D with EF24-70 L IS USM lens.

First Prize: Canon EOS 70D with EF18-135 IS STM lens.
Second Prize: Canon EOS 700D with EF 18-135 lens
Third Prize: Canon PowerShot G1X Mark II.

The winners of the three themes bring home a Canon PowerShot G16.
