Boost Rolls-Out New Payment Capabilities; Includes Parking and Utilities

Even after introducing its e-Wallet platform about a year ago, Boost has been introducing new payment capabilities for its platform; the latest to roll-out includes being able to pay for public parking spaces and utilities. These two, among the other new features, are part of the major announcement that Boost had put together. This is part of the on-going efforts Boost to make it self more relevant to the masses.

This new features will drop within this month as Boost rolls out these new payment options. Those keen on paying for utilities now do not have to trouble themselves with logging onto the bank’s website; they don’t even have to visit the bank or utility branch to make payment. Just fire up the Boost app, select the service provider and pay.

Similarly, the public parking spots will no longer demand users to run to a payment machine; they don’t even have to hunt for shops that sell the parking coupons. They just need to confirm the location, input their vehicle registration, and make payment. This mode of payment will ensure an easy and seamless experience; plus there is no cause for worry of late payments anymore.

Of course, this being Boost, there is the option to get back some returns; this is because the Boost Shake option is available for certain payments. According to Boost, both future payment offerings will roll out within the coming weeks. Further details from Boost confirms that parking will come out in phases; the platform will work closely with KL City Hall to activate each area.

Aside from that, Boost is also introducing donation options with more than a dozen considerations to choose from. This also includes the recently established Tabung Harapan. As for other new payment capabilities, there is some confirmation of even more options coming online within this year.
