BenQ ctinues to dominate the projector market with their latest release, the TK800. It’s a 4K HDR Home Entertainment Projector capable of bringing 4K UHD sports action and movies into your living room. BenQ are launching it just in tike for you to enjoy the FIFA World Cup in the best way possible.

“The world is poised for the 4K revolution in home entertainment,” says Conway Lee, President of BenQ. “In order to ensure viewing the latest matches is an absolutr joy for every sports fan, BenQ is bringing true 4K visuals with HDR, high brightness, and vivid color to immerse gathered friends and family in the global spectacle.”
The TK800 features true 4K 3840×2160 UHD resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels. This allows stunningly lifelike realism utilising projector-optimised HDR to enhance brightness and contrast range. It does this through its one-step image optimisation and automatic HDR natural colour rendition. Furthermore, the 4K colour wheel on the TK800 is capable of achieving 92% of the Rec. 709 colour gamut. This coupled with a hugh 3000 lumen brightness allows incredible picture quality in places with bright ambient lighting such as your living room.
Sports fans are also in for a treat with the TK800. The TK800 has two special modes for sports fans: Football and Sport audiovisual modes. They help bring a sporting experience you typically only get pitchside into the living room.
Football mode preserves natural skin tones, intensifies the vibrant green of the pitch as well as enhancing clarity of commentary over the loud cheering of the fans in the background. Sports mode meanwhile priorities indoor sports. It emphasises skin and wood tones while providing vivid reds along with balanced blues and greens. It does so while retaining the clarity of commentary as well as minor audio details such as whistles and squeking sneakers.
On top of that, the TK800 also comes with a CinemaMaster Audio+ 2 sound system. BenQ have upgraded it to ensure a wider frequency range at just 5-watts. It uses state of the art buikding materials such as an aluminium driver diaphragm and resonant sound chambers. This allows for the reproduction of delicatr audio details, cleaner vocals, and a more resounding bass.
The 2015 Oscar winning projection technology Digital Light Processing powers the TK800. This ensures it’s capable of delivering longlasting picture quality without degradation or the need for maintenance.
The TK800 is now available in Malaysia at RM5,599. You can get it at the official BenQ store on Lazada from May 2018 onward. For mote information on BenQ products, you can click here.
