Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Season 8 of Diablo IV, titled “Belial’s Return,” will launch on April 30 (AEDT / UTC+8), bringing the Lord of Lies back to Sanctuary with warped reality, new powers, and major gameplay updates.
Players can look forward to:
- A new questline centred on Belial and his Exalted Lair
- Apparition Incursion open-world boss rush events
- 24 new Boss Powers and 48 unique combinations to unlock and upgrade using Spectral Ash
- A complete Battle Pass overhaul via the Reliquary System, offering greater player choice and rewards customisation
- Diablo IV’s first external collaboration with BERSERK, launching May 7 and running through the end of the season, letting players wear iconic manga-inspired looks while slaying demons
