Be Prepared For A Host Of Great Content By Warner Media This June

With May coming to a close, Warner Media is set to premiere a whole lot of great content for the upcoming month of June.

These content will be available on HBO GO, HBO (Astro channel 411), Warner TV (Astro Channel 712 / UnifiTV Channel 451), CINEMAX (Astro Channel 412), Red by HBO (via HBO GO), and Oh!K (Astro Channel 394).

Here are a few HBO originals set to premiere in June on HBO GO and HBO:

I May Destroy You

Written by and starring BAFTA award-winner Michaela Coel, this series depicts the fight for justice against assault and female empowerment. Premieres Monday, June 8 at 10.30 AM.

The Head

Wrestle for survival in the cold and dark winter of Antarctica and unravel the mystery of an unexpected event. This HBO Asia Original thriller series stars Japanese singer-actor, Tomohisa Yamashita. Premieres Friday, June 12 at 9.00 PM.

Perry Mason

Solve crime alongside legendary criminal defence lawyer Perry Mason in 1930s America. Starring Golden Globe and Emmy award-winner, Matthew Rhys, with Robert Downey Jr. serving as executive producer. Premieres Monday, June 22 at 9.00 AM.

For a slight change of pace, a new documentary-series titled I’ll Be Gone in the Dark will also be premiering on Monday, June 29 at 10.00 AM.

CINEMAX

On CINEMAX, Trackers is set to debut on Saturday, June 6 at 10.00 AM. The series is based on the bestselling book by South African author, Deon Meyer.

New TV shows aside, Warner Media will be bringing over both Annabelle Comes Home and John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum onto the screen.

The movies will premier on CINEMAX on Saturday, June 6 at 10.00 AM and Saturday, June 27 at 10.00 PM, respectively.

To commemorate Father’s Day, Warner TV will be having reruns of comedy series Friends and The Big Bang Theory, as well as blockbusters films like Harry Potter and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Apart from reruns, Warner TV will also be premiering Pennyworth, a TV series that explores the history and origins of Batman’s famed butler, Alfred Pennyworth.

The series is set to premiere on Monday, June 29 at 9.00 PM.

Oh!K

For K-Drama lovers, Oh!K will also be debuting a couple of new shows for all to enjoy:

Kang Chi, The Beginning

A half-man and half-beast, Kang Chi embarks on a quest to become fully human. Two episodes will premiere weekly, starting on Monday, June 1 at 7.50 PM.

Everybody Say Kungdari

Find out the secrets of the villagers in the quaint village of Kungdari. New episodes will air every Tuesday to Friday at 9.00 PM, starting June 3.

If that’s not enough, there’s another K-drama series titled Babel that focuses on a lawyer bent on revenge.

It’s set to premiere on Saturday, June 13 at 10.00 PM on both HBO GO and RED by HBO (via HBO GO).
