The ASUS TUF Gaming Series is mostly known for its gaming motherboards and graphics cards but it will now have its first-ever gaming laptop, the ASUS TUF FX504. Known as The Ultimate Force (TUF), the ASUS TUF FX504 focuses on the core essence of TUF, which is stability and durability.

One notable feature of the ASUS TUF FX504 is its patented Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system, a new thermal design for the laptop that greatly extends its lifespan while keeping itself cool and stable. the ADC system will be paired with HyperCool technology and FanBoost, allowing you to have control between fan performance and noise level.

At the core of the ASUS TUF FX504 is its hardware, which can carry up to the 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750HQ and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card. The ASUS TUF FX504 also has a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. There will also be a base of 4GB RAM, which hopefully can be upgraded and a 1TB solid-state hybrid drive (SSHD).

As the keyboard is half the gaming laptop these days, the ASUS TUF FX504 comes with a desktop-style gaming keyboard with a 20 million click lifespan. It promises smooth and tactile feedback with its 1.8 mm travel space between keypresses and come with RGB backlighting.

There are four different variants of the ASUS TUF FX504, with its highest carrying the Intel i7-8750HQ, processor, a 1TB SSHD + 128GB PCIe SSD and the GTX 1050Ti 4GB GDDR5 GPU. A slightly lower variant sees the exact same specs but with a GTX 1050 GPU instead.

Its third model carries similar specs but without the added 128GB PCIe SSD, and its last model has an Intel i5-8300HQ with a 1TB SSHD and a GTX 1050Ti 4GB GDDR5 GPU. It’s also worth noting that the first three models carry the 15.6-inch IPS 60Hz panel with 250 nits of brightness while its lowest tier model has a TN panel with 200 nits of brightness.

All laptops are slated to release in April 2018.
