ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the new Zephyrus G14 gaming notebook that brings power to an ultraslim 14-inch form factor.
To reduce the ultraslim gaming category, ROG engineers have come up with their solution; the new Zephyrus G14. They debuted it at CES 2020, and is a combination of powerful processors on a compact form factor to make PC gaming portable.
The chassis of the Zephyrus G14 is under 20mm thin, but that doesn’t make it underpowered. The G14 comes with the new AMD Ryzen 4000 Series Mobile Processors which is built on the Zen 2 core architecture, which is combined with 7nm process technology. The slim gaming notebook also can be equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
But the one thing I do know is that gaming laptops are powerful enough to do design works as well. And with that, ROG have also implemented a way for users to optimise their experience for gaming or creativity, by giving a choice between high refresh and high resolution displays. Both come with PANTONE Validated colours and adaptive sync technology.
Powering the Zephyrus G14 is 10 hours of battery life and a Type-C power makes it more portable. It comes in two colours, Moonlight White or Eclipse Gray.
All in all, the G14 is an attractive package that definitely seems to be worth the money. But they haven’t mentioned any pricing and availability in Malaysia yet, so stay tuned for updates on the Zephyrus G14!
