Asus First Fingerprint Sensor Zenpad 3S LTE Tablet Now Available

For those looking for an alternative tablet experience albeit less hurtful to the pocket and at the same time offer top quality performance, can consider the ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 LTE (Z500KL), an Android-powered tablet that offers considerable pass-time killing while you’re on the go. The close to a 10-inch tablet is now available for those who require larger screen excitement at, RM1799.

Making it into the anorexic society at a mere 5.8mm in thinness, the aluminum framed tablet features a 9.7-inch IPS display with QXGA (2048 by 1536) 2K resolution touchscreen and is supported by a virtual 7.1-channel surround-sound. The Zenpd 3S 10 LTE is also the first ASUS tablet to include a fingerprint sensor and can be worked with apps for authentication. For those who prefer stylus, there an optional ASUS Z Stylus, that works seamlessly with various productivity apps after all the stylus is all the craze nowadays, thanks to Apple Pencil.

Its clear Asus made the tablet as an entertainment screen, the giveaway is the speaker system, long battery life of 7800mAh that the company claims can power 16 hours of movie watching. 2K display would mean those high resolution videos on YouTube and streaming channels like Netflix with their 4K programs will not be fully exploited on the tablet. However, since the screen is small the effects will not be much felt.

System lag will not be an issue as most users tend to treat their tablets like a full blown notebook or PC loading tons of unnecessary apps and solutions, slowing the device. Consumers need to realise the tablet is just an oversized mobile phone, do your heavy-weighted work on the PC! That said, at the heart of the ZenPad 3S 10 is a set of powerful components that includes a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor supported by a generous 4GB of RAM and for storage, the tablet has up to 32GB of onboard and for extended memory theres a memory micro SD Card reader.

As mentioned being a mobile phone-esque device, camera is compulsory with a front-facing 5MP camera and 8MP rear camera. However we doubt it will be easy to lift up a 10 inch tablet and take a selfie or wefie.
