Apple has shared media invites to an unveiling event slated for 12th September at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. The launch event is expected to be pack-full of new devices and news on Apple’s iPhone strategy. Three models of the iPhone and a new Apple Watch are expected to be shown during the event.

Website 9to5Apple shares that the new iPhone will be called the iPhone XS. The three models will consist of an updated 5.8-inch OLED version of the iPhone X, a larger ‘Plus’ version with a 6.5-inch OLED screen, and a cheaper 6.1-inch device using LCD rather than OLED like the current iPhone X. There will be a Gold edition of the phone – which at this time is uncertain whether it will be just gold coloured or gold-plated.

Also on the launch table is a new Apple Watch. The Series 4 Apple Watch will have similar design to the Series 3, but now features a larger screen. It also will have a new complication i.e. watch face, and an extra microphone on board. This is to assist Siri in recognizing users commands.
The new iPhone XS is expected to start from USD 899 (~RM 3,723) and all the way to USD 999 (~RM 4,137) for the Plus model. No pricing has been leaked for the cheaper iPhone nor the Apple Watch Series 4. September 12 is just a couple of weeks away, so stay tuned with Liveatpc.com during the livestream.
