We still don’t know what the O stands for, but we do know at least a couple phones that will be getting it.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed in a Tweet that the OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 will have the O upgrade once it becomes available. He didn’t divulge any information, if known, regarding the time frame of the latest Android upgrade.
A lot of you have been asking, so I'm proud to say Android O will come to OnePlus 3 and 3T.

GOogle has just released the beta version of Android O in Google I/O conference last month, the actual roll out to consumers probably isn’t going to be that soon. Speculations puts it sometime late this year, probably along with the launch of Google Pixel 2. Which means another couple months before everyone else gets it.
For OnePlus, the OnePlus 5 probably will get the update first before the rest of the lineup – so likely we won’t be seeing the O quite just yet – possibly in 2018.
OnePlus annnounced last month that the 3T will be discontinued starting 1 June.
At least its confirmed that they will be getting it eh? Considering OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X haven’t even been updated to Android Nougat.
