How durable is a Switch? Can it survive a 1000 ft drop?

UnlockRiver.com posted a video on YouTube showing them dropping the console from a drone that lifted 1000ft above ground. How did it hold up? Well, watch yourself.

If you didn’t watch – well, we’ll tell you. It survived. It still works, the screen wasn’t broken and the right Joy Con is still intact and still works. The unfortunate left controller though, shattered on impact.

Well, that is durability for you. The UnlockRiver YouTube channel constantly does drop tests at 1000 ft, including the Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7.
