After much fanfare around the Threadripper, Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7, AMD has finally revealed their lower tier and highest tier Ryzen series, bringing together the full line up of Ryzen processors.

In direct contention with Intel, AMD demonstrated the Threadripper’s capabilities in Computex back in June. Boasting 16 cores and 32 threads, it also delivers a 3.4 GHz base clock and a 4.0 GHz boost.  The processor has now been officially released as the Ryzen Threadripper 1950X, with a suggested retail price of US$999 (approx. RM 4300). Along with the 1950X is the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X, which packs 12 cores and 24 threads, a 3.5 GHz base clock and a 4.0 GHz boost. The 1920X carries a suggested retail price of US$799 (approx. RM 3500). Both Threadrippers will be available, unlocked for overclocking, by early August 2017.

Meanwhile on the affordable range, AMD pushes out the Ryzen 3. Ryzen 3 comes with 4 cores, 4 threads on “Zen” architecture-based CPUs. There will be two options, namely the Ryzen 3 1300X CPU with base clock of 3.5 GHz and boost to 3.7 GHz, and the Ryzen 3 1200 CPU with a base clock of 3.1 GHz and boost to 3.4 GHz. The Ryzen 3 family will be available starting 27 July, with AMD AM4 A320, B350, and X370 motherboard options ready to pair.

AMD also teased the announcement of the Vega family of GPUs at SIGGRAPH.
