Acer brought together educators, policymakers, and technology leaders from across the region at its inaugural Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025 to explore the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalisation on education.
Held in Bangkok from May 7–8, the summit welcomed delegates from 12 countries, including Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Singapore. Themed “Shaping Tomorrow: AI and Digital Technologies in Education”, the event served as a platform to exchange insights on ed-tech innovation and prepare students for a digital future.

Acer showcased its AI-powered devices and classroom solutions, highlighting tools that support digital literacy, streamline administration, and improve student engagement.
Altos Computing, an Acer subsidiary, unveiled its latest AI servers and the Altos aiWorks computing platform, offering flexible GPU resource allocation for shared use in education environments. The Altos BrainSphere™ R680 F7 server was among the featured systems, supporting up to eight NVIDIA H200 or RTX Pro™ 6000 GPUs for intensive AI workloads.
Altos is set to expand its AI server lineup in Q3 2025 with two new systems: the Altos BrainSphere™ R880 F6 (HGX-based NVIDIA B200 AI server) and the Altos BrainSphere™ R780 F7 (MGX-based 4U/8GPU server), aimed at education, enterprise, and research sectors.
The summit also featured interactive showcases by Intel, Microsoft, Google, AOPEN, Acer’s SpatialLabs stereoscopic line, and the Predator gaming brand, demonstrating applications for esports and immersive learning in classrooms.
