Acer Malaysia is turning up the heat for local gamers with the launch of its latest Predator and Nitro gaming lineup, featuring new laptops, desktops and displays designed for both hardcore gaming and everyday flexibility.

Leading the lineup is the new Predator Helios Neo 16 gaming laptop, powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU. Acer positions the device as a more accessible mid-tier gaming machine, while still packing premium features such as a 180Hz WQXGA+ display, 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D cooling fan and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E connectivity for smoother online gameplay.

For gamers who prefer a full desktop setup, Acer also introduced the Predator Orion 5000. Equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 265F and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics, the desktop is built for gaming, streaming and creative workloads. It also features customisable ARGB lighting and Predator CycloneX 360 cooling to keep temperatures in check during long sessions.

On the display side, Acer launched the Predator XB273U X2 gaming monitor with a QHD IPS panel, 210Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response time aimed at competitive gamers seeking smoother visuals.

Meanwhile, the Nitro PG241Y P1 arrives as Malaysia’s first 23.8-inch portable gaming monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering users a lightweight second screen for gaming, work or content consumption on the move.

The new devices are now available nationwide through Acer’s official stores and authorised resellers. Acer is also running its Predator Kasi Onz Roadshow at Sunway Pyramid from May 14 to 17, featuring discounts of up to RM2,000, Touch ’n Go eWallet rewards and flash deals with discounts reaching up to 85% on selected products.
