At the 2018 Acer Global Press Conference, Acer CEO Jason Chen announces two new products based on the Chrome OS. One of them is a new Acer Chromebook Spin 13, while the other device is the Acer Chromebook Tab 10.

First off, the Acer Chromebook Tab 10. What we do know so far is that the Chrome OS powers the tablet. It appears to be aimed at helping classroom learning for school kids. To do so, it comes with Google Expeditions Augmented Reality. This would help with things such as dangerous chemistry experiments. It’ll also feature a built-in Wacom EMR Stylus, for easy note taking in class. The tablet will also be managed by a Chrome Management Console. We don’t know the price or other specifications just yet, but we’ll update as we learn more.

On top of that, there’s also the new Acer Chromebook Spin 13. It’s the world’s most powerful Chromebook notebook out there. An 8th Gen Intel Core Processor will be powering the Chromebook Spin 13, but we don’t know which one just yet. It has a 15.6″ screen with a thinner bezel, following the new trends in electronic gadgets. You can be sure it’s a solid notebook as it had a 100% metal chassis. Furthermore, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass Touchpad for extra strength and durability. Again, we haven’t heard about the price, but we will update as we learn more.

Acer will be launching more than just these Chrome OS devices though. Other products include more Predator products, 2-in-1s, and peripherals. To see the Acer Global Press Conference for yourself, you can click here.
