Google has just made the official uncapping of the latest mobile operating software Android O now known as Android Oreo. The eighth version of the most widely used mobile OS in the world with over 80% market share is now more powerful, smarter and faster.
Notable among the new features will be how the boot time has been significantly reduced and an Autifill function that allows users instant login into their task menu. And in Picture-in-Picture, you can check the other items on your phone while on a video call, meaning you and your counterpart can still communicate visually even if you’re checking your phone for calendar or appointment notes. Other improvements includes minimising battery consumption by apps running in the background, you can also now know which app requires your attention with Notification Dots that you can tap to see the messages without opening the application. Security has been another factor that has been enhanced with Google Play Protect built in with tighter app installation controls.
As usual, Google will be first releasing Andoriod Oreo on Nexus and Pixel devices before rolling out to the rest of the manufacturers by end of the year.
