Celcom is challenging the status, it is very clear the telco sees the hunger of millions of users for data and how they are being deprived by certain stubborn operators and wants to fulfill their needs with Celcoms data friendly plans. Since launching their new postpaid package last month, the First Blue and First Gold that offers customers extra data on weekends under the Greatest Weekend Campaign, the plans is now giving a Santa Claus treatment with Celcom increasing the data offered and bundled in special packages for devices as a generous festive giveaway.
The latest updated FiRST Gold internet now gives up to 40GB of internet and data (more on this below), with a monthly commitment of only RM100, a staggering increase from a mere 12GB in November, additionally, the new FiRST Blue Internet and FiRST Gold Internet also provides the customers to be the first to get new devices bundled together.
Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad said with the increasing demand for internet by customers today, FIRST by Celcom Internet plans will further meet and enhance its customer’s digital communication needs and customer experience by providing the greatest internet plans ever including the option to bundle the plan with the latest devices in the market starting from 23 December, namely the iPad Mini 4 16GB , iPad Mini 4 64GB and iPad Pro 128GB.
FiRST Gold Internet works this way: customers who sign up will receive 6GB of monthly internet together with 12GB between 1am to 7am, plus also get 6GB complimentary Celcom WiFi per month and 12GB complimentary WiFi from 1am to 7am. The internet plan also consists of our 4GB FREE internet on weekends, totaling up to 40GB of data and internet per month. No doubt the 40GB data is not as straight forward as it may seem, however it will be up to the users to manage the usage based on need, time and location, there will be a certain group who will cherish the extra GB given and might suit their usage pattern.
Included in the package is FREE unlimited music from the newly launched music service, Yonder Music for 12 months, unused Internet will be allowed to be carried forward up to 6GB per month and an extended credit limit up to RM500. And those who sign up with any of FiRST Internet plans will also be eligible to enjoy Celcom’s Millions of Giveaways throughout the month of December until 29 February 2016.
