Monster Hunter World: Iceborne; A Horrifying Winter Wonderland Filled With Monsters

When Monster Hunter: World came out for console and PC, people were ecstatic that a Monster Hunter game would finally be coming to the platforms. And now, it’s no different. Capcom have released more information and a trailer showing off the new environment filled with new equipment, and monsters of course. Making a return to the franchise, the chilling wyvren, the Tigrex. And me, being a Monster Hunter fan from their PSP games, know the true horrors of facing a Tigrex. And adding him to the next gen of Monster Games, is a good decision. The Tigrex is one of the most recognisable monsters in the series.

The trailer introduces players to Hoarfrost Reach, the new area that Iceborne is set in. It’s a snowy region, with icy wind and monsters that have adapted to the ecosystem. This DLC will include new monsters, old monsters with new abilities, new weapon moves, and new hunting gear. The one that’s caught my eye, is the Clutch Claw. The Clutch Claw essentially let’s you mount monsters easier, you shoot the claw at the monster, and boom. Instant Carnage.

All of this just means, a refresh for the monster hunting game. Monster Hunter: World came out In January 2018, so it’s about time that a big update comes to the game.

And I for one, an psyched. I haven’t touched the game in awhile, and this is just what it needed to bring me back.
