Samsung Malaysia Electronics (Samsung) held an ‘Era of Live’ party to mark the official launch of its next generation Galaxy A smartphone series. Unveiling the Galaxy A50 and A30 in style, the event had a performance from 2015’s Britain’s Got Talent winner, Calum Scott.

Samsung claims that the A50 and A30 will be set to be a game changer in the mid-category. They will have features and are designs that appeal to young millennial and Generation Z users. The phones will feature a 6.4″ display Super AMOLED display and has the Fullview display making a tiny notch on the top of the screen. It also sports 4000 mAh battery, fast charging, and microSD support.
However the A50, being the more premium version, will have an onscreen fingerprint sensor, and Triple 25+5+8 MP camera setup while the A30 has a Dual 16+5MP shooters. Both devices will be available in Black, White, and Blue.
President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics, Yoonsoo Kim said,
“We bring Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 into Malaysia to help young consumers cut through the cluttered market and easily own the most essential features in response to their connected lives. We have taken into consideration how their lifestyle and mobile usage behavior have progressed.”
“These devices are made for young digital natives to capture, share and enjoy live moments or content in a quick, constant and spontaneous manner without compromising on quality. It is the perfect range for digitally and socially active users, who are always on and ready to impress.” he added.

The devices are now available, with the A50 going for RM 1199 and A30 for RM 799.
