Google is rolling out a new feature on its mapping app, Google Maps. Users can now, as a group, plan where to go with everybody’s input through a shared list and vote within the same group to find a winner.

Simply long press on any place to add it to a shortlist – the small floating bubble on the side of the screen. Once the places are added into the list, it can be quickly shared friends on any messaging platform, The list will open up in a new window, where everyone invited can add or remove additional places, and vote together to choose a winner.

The new feature will definitely help in reducing the headache of answering the question “where to go makan?” among friends. The voting system also helps in deciding between the members or the group, and everyone has access to add/subtract places in the suggested list.

The new update is rolling out to both iOS and Android via an app update this week.
