Acer reveals details and release windows on several gaming laptops under its Predator line coming to Malaysian shores soon. These laptops include the Acer Helios 500, Acer Nitro 5, and a refreshed Acer Helios 300.
The first laptop is the Acer Predator Nitro 5, which arrives this month. The laptop hosts either Intel Core i or AMD Ryzen processors with options between NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/1050Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560X GPUs. This also comes coupled with fast DDR4 RAM and PCIe NVMe SSD.
Next, the Acer Predator Helios 300 gets a refresh in June. The 2018 version runs on Intel’s Coffee Lake hardware platform. It also now has an AeroBlade 3D fan for increased cooling. Nothing else from the model has changed as it retains its NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU and 7th Generation Intel Core i7 CPU.
Lastly, also coming in June is the latest Acer Predator Helios 500. This new gaming laptop arrives with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU. Also included are Intel Core i7-8750H and Intel Core i9-8950HK CPUs.
While the release windows for these laptops are known, prices and specific dates are still to be announced.
