I personally hate having to go to 7-Eleven sometimes. I mean, yeah. 7-Eleven is great and all but it’s 2019 and most 7-Eleven’s only accept cash. And when they do accept cashless payments, it’s Razer Pay- Not that there’s anything wrong with Razer Pay, but with a plethora of e-wallets in the market, who really wants to have to download ALL of them? Not me.
That being said, Malaysians can all breathe a sigh of relief as Touch ‘n Go eWallet has officially announced it’s partnership with 7-Eleven to enable payment and reload conveniences across all 7-Eleven outlets nationwide. Thats 2381 outlets, in case you were wondering!
The announcement is part of Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s continuous expansion effort to make eWallet usage more commonplace as well as of course, increasing its presence at more touch points across the country. I think we can all agree when I say this partnership is long overdue. Convenience stores are all over Malaysia and with 7-Eleven being arguably the biggest one around, it truly puts the convenience, in convenience stores.
“Malaysians are driven by speed and convenience, both of which are the essence that the Touch ‘n Go eWallet lives by. We are excited to be a payment partner with 7-Eleven, Malaysia’s largest convenience retailer as this will supercharge the rakyats lifestyle to live, pay and transact digitally anywhere in Malaysia.”
Ignatius Ong, CEO TNG Digital Sdn Bhd.
Being an eWallet, of course there’s going to be cashbacks! In conjunction with this partnership announcement, first time users who choose to go cashless with the Touch ‘n Go eWallet ay 7-Eleven will enjoy RM8 cashback by keying in the reload pin

On top of that, from the 1st to the 7th of November 2019, users who spend RM11 and above in a single receipt will receive a one-time cashback of RM7.
If you happen to miss out on that, fret not. From the 8th of November till the 31st of December, with every spend of RM20 in a single receipt, Touch ‘n Go eWallet users are entitled to receive RM4 cashback, limited to 2 times per user.
With over 5.5 million registered users across the country and close to 100,000 retail points, the Touch ‘n Go eWallet is expanding rather aggressively. There is no doubt that this is only the beginning.
