With just days away to the biggest launch by Microsoft since the introduction of Windows on 15th November 1985, July 29th marks the 30th anniversary for the worlds mostly used operating software with the completely refreshed Windows 10. During the Build developers conference in May, we were enlightened with a plethora of new and exciting features coming into the latest Windows 10.

Today as a run up to the launch, PC.com would like to start by highlighting some of these features and would like begin with the Action Center, Task View and Snap Assist functions.

Lets start with the one such enhancement, the Snap feature- which allows to quickly drag four things on your screen by just dragging those apps into the corner, suggestions will also be given by Windows to fill gaps with other open apps. Quite nifty as show in the image above, with a touch screen device like Surface you could multi task like never before.

As for Task View, what it does is, it provides a simple way to see your open apps, docs and files in a single view to manage what you’re doing. And if your screen is getting crowded, you can create a virtual desktop to gain more space and work with just the items you want.

Action Center on the other hand, organises all your notifications and key settings in one view so you can manage them or quickly take action—like replying to email or changing screen brightness without having to go through the app. This will prevent you from being overwhelmed through constant notifications from various apps.
