Ultra-thin phone measures only 5.08mm.


Vivo has announced that its Vivo X5Max will be launching in Malaysia soon. Featuring a super slim body 5.08mm, the device also boasts Extreme Hi-Fi capability.

Sporting a stainless steel body and back with anti-fingerprint coating, the new phone will feel great in your hands. It also has a large 5.5in 1080p resolution Super AMOLED display, which looks really bright and has natural colours. On the top of the device is a standard audio jack, so that you can enjoy the dynamic and beautiful sounds it delivers.

This new smartphone will feature version 2.0 of Extreme Hi-Fi, now with greater audio quality than before and has soundstage not unlike a concert’s. For specs, the Vivo X5Max runs on a 64-bit Octa-core by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and is based on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 2.0 (Android KitKat). It also comes with 2GB of RAM, plus plenty of storage with 16GB internal storage and support for microSD cards. The microSD slot also works as a secondary SIM card slot, meaning you can use the X5Max as a dual SIM phone.

For casual photography and selfies with great detail, the X5Max comes with a 13MP rear camera with 6P lenses and F2.0 aperture and a 5MP wide-angle front camera. To take different kinds of shots, Vivo has added camera modes like Night, Bokeh, Children, Beauty and Panorama.

Coming to you soon, the Vivo X5Max will retail at RM1,799.
