Valve Releasing Dota Underlords To Android Soon; Their Own Auto Chess Game

As I had mentioned previously, Auto Chess is going to be the next big thing in mobile gaming. For the uninitiated, Auto Chess was actually a custom map/mod that was made by Drodo Studios, and they broke off from Valve and created their own port on mobile. Now however, Valve have released the big guns and said they’re bringing Dota Underlords to Steam, Android, and iOS.

Here’s what Dota Undelords is, in their own words;

Dota Underlords is a new stand-alone game that pits you against seven opponents in a battle of wits that will have you building, combining, and leveling-up a crew in a battle of dominance for the city of White Spire.

In this game, victory is determined not by twitch reflexes, but by superior tactics.

Check out this gameplay from hOlyhexOr of Dota Underlords in beta:

Dota Underlords was in a ‘Friends and Family’ Beta, but now you can check it out for yourselves! If you have the Dota 2 Batlle Pass that is..

Valve will be stress testing their servers, and they mention after about a week of that, the game will be available for Open Beta.

In the preview version, you’ll be able to:

  • Play online against seven other players.
  • Practice offline against our lineup of advanced bots (from easy to hardcore difficulty).
  • Party up and play together against bots or other players.

Battle Pass owners can find a link to add Dota Underlords to their Steam library on the Dota 2 dashboard.
