Twitter has launched a video app for Apple, Amazon TV and Xbox One. At the moment, the National Football League (NFL) and the National Basketball Association (NBA) are two close partners of the Twitter video app, sharing their contents online with Twitter.
Jack Dorsey-led Twitter has made a significant push into video, signing deals with several media companies and sports organizations to stream major events. In a statement recently, the company also said that the contents will be available to users of Apple, Amazon TV and Xbox One without a Twitter account or a Pay-TV subscription.
Twitter obtained 10 NFL Thursday night games streaming rights in April.
