In case you missed it, Facebook has got themselves a brand new logo, and there’s really not much to say about it in terms of design. It’s almost like as if they commissioned the same dude who did the KL tourism logo back in 2016 to do the new Facebook one.
That being said, the bland design is getting panned left right and centre from the citizens of the internet.
#Facebook, now what is this?
I like the idea which I am guessing is to show the stability, strength & trust towards us. But the logo is quite bland. I would have made it as well in a day.
Not a year.
In a single day.
But I would have picked something else. #FacebookLogo pic.twitter.com/wCkfEfZ6Ya

The best of the bunch however, has got to be from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who pretty much slam dunked on the social media giant with just one tweet.

A simple “Twitter from TWITTER” tweet was enough to garner him 22.7k likes on the social network and we have to say, it’s a pretty good roast. Dorsey’s tweet is the latest in the butting of heads between the social media giants in recent weeks.
The Twitter CEO pulled off another brilliant move by announcing that Twitter would be suspending all paid political ads on the platform, in a move that essentially took Facebook to task over its reluctance to do the same.
It’s always nice to see friendly banter and a great sense of humour so here’s to more of this in the future.
