Saudi Arabia, 22nd October – Triple Esports has emerged triumphant, clinching the prestigious Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s spot at the esteemed Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M5 World Championship.
This event marked a historic achievement as the first Saudi Arabian team to qualify for an M-Series Championship.
The victory, obtained after a fierce clash against Team Falcons in the 2023 MLBB Professional League MENA (MPL MENA) Fall Split Grand Finals, not only secured their place at the M5 World Championship, but also guaranteed them participation in the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational (MPLI) in Indonesia.
The intense battle between Triple Esports and Team Falcons culminated in a 4-2 victory for Triple Esports, sealing their claim to the lion’s share of the US$100,000 (~SAR375,000) prize pool.
Meanwhile, Team Falcons, despite their defeat, secured a spot in the M5 Wild Card, scheduled to take place from 23rd to 26th November in Malaysia.
This wildcard tournament will see the team competing against seven other international teams, vying for two slots at the M5 World Championship in the Philippines.
