Burgeoning ICT trends will always have issues to contend with. In the case of Cloud Computing, mobility, and Big Data – mega-trends of 2014 – it had to do with data protection, information management, and the seamless integration of all three.

The former will see more businesses consider the move to the Cloud and the value of Big Data, while the latter consist of new attack vectors borne from the latest threats that are expected to appear as part of the evolution of the ICT industry.

“From advance Denial of Service activities to social media type phishing and better, attack methods will experience some level of change as companies begin to make the transition to the Cloud and consider improved mobility,” Anshuman notes.

Besides needing to address these evolving threats, organisations also have to be wary of their impact towards operations as well.
