Looks like people are clam-oring for the Motorola clamshell foldable smartphone. And it also looks like everyone misses the flip phone era more than previously anticipated, because now the news is out that it’s been delayed from the original launch date. Apparently, this is because, according to Tweaktown, Motorola wants to better consumer demand.

It sounds like Motorola didn’t have that many units available to meet the demand in the original timeframe for launch. As they’re aiming to manufacture more phones, the release of the phone could be delayed to February or March 2020.

But with the extra time, it makes them able to iron out further problems they might have with the phone. A foldable being a foldable, it’s best to make use of all the time they have to make changes if needed. Considering the $1500 USD (~RM6200) price point, you’re gonna want to make sure the phone can handle what you throw at it.
