Joining a list of channels on the video streaming service, Maxis has now added Tonton along Viu, iflix and others, for customers to watch movies and drama’s without the worry of data consumption. MaxisOne Plan users who receive free 5GB video streaming data every month will get to enjoy the service alongside a free 60-day trial of tonton’s VIP subscription.
VIP members benefit watching streams with zerovideo ads, and features like download and watch later, access to the full library, once the free trial expires . MaxisOne plan users will get an exclusive 60-day free tonton VIP membership, users can than choose to upgrade with the fees of RM10 per month.
Tonton has over 5.9 million registered users with 23,000 hours of content, including the popular Hijab Chic series. Registration is free though premium content and special features are only available for VIP subscribers. Amongst exclusive titles currently available on tonton include Cinta Roller Coaster, Cinta Masam Manis, Hijab Chic plus hot Korean titles such as Descendants of the Sun & Bring it on, Ghost. Plans to bring more and bogger contents are in the pipeline.
