TNG Digital Opens Its Office In Bangsar South

TNG Digital, the joint-venture company between Touch n’ Go with Ant Financial from China has opened its office officially in Bangsar South. The company aims to bolster the adoption rate of its Touch n’ Go eWallet in Malaysia and to promote a cashless society in Malaysia.

Syahrunizam Samsudin, CEO of TNG Digital Sdn Bhd said, “Aligned with the opening of our new office, we are focusing our efforts in strengthening a truly homegrown Malaysian product; the Touch ‘n Go eWallet. We hope to be the enabler for Malaysians to transition their lifestyle and provide seamless, more convenient payment experience for all our users.”

Currently, the mobile payment app allows users to make payments, top-up their mobile credit, transfer money, watch movies, and more.

At the same time, TNG Digital also aims to bridge the gap between the community and companies within the area of Bangsar South. The company is working with the Lembah Pantai authorities to launch an internship program for local youths as well as engaging the market to embrace digital technology and mobile payments.

A total of 10 students will be selected and offered placement at across different departments at TNG Digital. At the end of their internship, one student will be selected to experience the cashless lifestyle in Hangzhou, China. Students with a minimum qualification of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) may apply for the 10-week internship programme with TNG Digital.
