Further to our earlier post here, there has been a leak showing TIME’s proposed new speeds. In the leak, 100Mbps users would only pay RM99 instead of RM149 previously. Users in the 500Mbps tier would only have to pay RM139, while the 1Gbps tier manages to stay below the RM200 mark.
Diving deeper in to the speeds, the 100Mbps and 500Mbps tiers should retain the symmetrical speeds, meaning upload and download speeds are the same. Rumours suggest the 1Gbps tier will be asymmetrical, with upload speeds only reaching 500Mbps.
Voice calls are still charged RM2.50 for a Lite plan or RM10 for a Max plan. No details on how many calls a Lite or Max plan would allocate.
Existing TIME users have been receiving updates, albeit in stages. Users in the 100Mbps tier would have been upgraded to 500Mbps, while users with 300Mbps would be bumped up to 800Mbps. This was based on an earlier rumour.
We will post an update as soon as the announcement is out.
