Vivo is releasing yet another smartphone, the Vivo S1 Pro and it’s set to launch in Malaysia on 3rd December. It’s set to be an upgraded version of their previous smartphone, the S1, and is equipped with a better camera and processor.
The S1 Pro is equipped with a 6.38″ Super AMOLED display which has a teardrop notch and in-display fingerprint scanner. On the inside, it’s running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 655 SoC, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. On the battery front, it has a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging with USB-C.
Now to the main show of the Vivo S1 Pro, the cameras. On the back it had a diamond shaped camera module which houses a quad-cam setup of a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front it features a 32MP selfie camera. The phone will be available in two colours, Fancy Sky and Knight Black. Ooo. Fancy.
Now I assume that they opted to go for the diamond shaped back as it’s inline with their S series of phones, as the S1 was touted as being stylish, and to us, had more form over function. With the diamond back though, I’m willing to say it sets itself apart from the rest. But how it actually performs, we’ll have to wait and see when we get our hands on it.
We don’t have a price fro the S1 Pro yet, but I’m going to guess around RM 1399 – RM 1499. Stay tuned for December 3rd when we get more info after the launch!
