With how far gaming has come in the last decade it’s funny that some of the most anticipated games of 2020 aren’t entirely new, but in fact remakes of old games. Try as you might but some games are just so good that they leave a permanent impression on you. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is one of those games.
Capcom, riding on the success of the Resident Evil 2 remake, announced back in December that the game is all set to get a remake, and it didn’t take long for them to put out a trailer offering us a closer look at what it’s going to look like.
The trailer carries with it that signature Resident Evil vibe- You know, the one that makes you want to cover your face with a pillow because you’re scared shitless and gives players what is probably the best look yet at the abomination that is Nemesis, and it’s freaking glorious.
You’ve got the vibe that Nemesis will stop at nothing to hunt down Jill Valentine. You also get a better look at Jill and Carlos and the sheer chaos that Umbrella Corp’s zombie infestation has laid upon Raccoon City. It feels like 1999 all over again, but with 2020 graphics.. if that makes any sense.
We don’t actually know if the game will stay true to the original but if it’s anything like the Resident Evil 2 revamp, RE3: Nemesis won’t have any surprises in store for us. The remastered game is set to release on the 3rd of April on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
