The MSI Vortex W25 Expands Beyond Gaming

With Computex coming up next month, Taiwan based MSI is ramping up its relases starting with the workstation line including this fine looking Vortex W25 being the world’s first 2.5L desktop powered by NVIDIA’s Quadro P5200 GPU

Beginging its life as a gaming box, the Vortex W25 is one of the smallest workstations in MSi’s arsenal that is now seeing its function expand beyond its intended purpose and move into the realm of graphic design and creative work. Powered by the NVIDIA Quadro P5200 GPU, the unit has also Intel’s latest  8th generation processor giving extra computing power making the Vortex W25 ideal for high-end 3D or VR tasks.

While overheating can be a concern, MSI takes care of that problem with its cooling technology, the Cooler Boost Titan thermal solution that can provide stability and ensure the best performance possible. The W25 with Quadro graphics performs with a greater thermal efficiency than the average Quadro DT.

Form factor plays a key part here, the small footprint will take very little space on a table and yet perform extreme duties. It is VESA Mount supported, allowing the compact PC to be easily attached to the back of monitors to save even more desk space. It also features a rapid disassembly design for a fast and easy way to remove the top cover without the need for tools. The dual NVMe M.2 SSD by PCIe Gen3/SATA SSD Combo slots, 2.5” hard drive and dual DDR4-2400 slots are all easily accessible.
